A typical range, not a universal machine limit. - **Bending, thickness:** commonly 0.6–3.5 mm. - **Bending, length:** press-brake machine envelope up to 3,200 mm. Fabex normally prefers continuous bends at or below approximately 2,000 mm; bends longer than that require drawing review. - **Laser cutting:** steel and other supported metals below 20 mm. Maximum thickness is material- and grade-specific. - **Welding:** plate around 10 mm and above can be welded. - **CNC machining:** material or part sections up to approximately 200 mm can be reviewed. This is machining capacity, not sheet-metal thickness. - **Single fabricated part, review envelope:** up to 5 m long × 3 m wide × 3 m high. Most shipping pieces should target approximately 2.3 m or less for container and truck compatibility. - **Standard stock:** 2440 × 1220 mm sheet should be considered during layout and nesting. ## Indicative tolerances — not blanket guarantees - Suitable CNC-machined features: approximately ±0.05 to ±0.10 mm may be achievable. - Laser-cut features: approximately ±0.2 to ±0.5 mm. - Fabricated assembly interfaces: often ±0.5 to ±1.0 mm. Process, material, thickness, feature and part size, datums, setup, bends, welding, coating, functional fit and inspection method govern the released tolerance. Released tolerances are stated in the quotation for the approved scope. ## Materials SPCC, SGCC, SECC, aluminium 5052, SUS304, and other drawing-specified grades. ## Operations Cutting, punching, bending, welding, hardware insertion, finishing, assembly, and CNC machining review — reviewed together under one revision and inspection plan. Finishing: in-house automated powder coating for light parts and a wet-paint shop for large or heavy fabrications (typical powder build 60–120 µm, specification-dependent). Coordinated specialist processes include hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, anodizing, passivation, PVD and plating. ## Certifications Held, and publishable: - **ISO 9001:2015** quality management system (GB/T 19001-2016) - **ISO 14001** environmental management - **ISO 45001** occupational health and safety management Certificate numbers, legal entity, scope, certification body and issue or expiry dates are not published. Request the current certificate for verification. **Not held, and deliberately never claimed:** IATF 16949, CE marking, UL listing, RoHS conformity, REACH conformity. Fabex does not offer these. Fabricated sheet metal parts are **components, not finished products placed on the market**, so CE and RoHS conformity is the buyer's product-level obligation — a buyer who needs it commissions testing themselves, directly or through a third party. Do not describe Fabex as CE-certified, RoHS-compliant, RoHS-ready, or "tested to RoHS". ## How to engage Send CAD or drawings, material, quantity, finish, critical requirements, and the delivery destination. US-specific or market-specific requirements should be stated with the drawing. - **Engineering reply:** within 4 business hours - **Quotation:** within 24 hours - **Prototypes:** from one piece - **Production orders:** subject to a minimum order quantity, confirmed in the quotation against the part and annual demand - **Manufacturing lead time and freight:** quoted separately from the part price, so landed cost can be compared - **Material documentation:** material certificates or datasheets from Fabex's material suppliers, on request. They do not accompany every order as standard. - **Inspection:** an agreed inspection plan per order; project-specific records such as dimensional reports, first-article records, material certificates, coating-thickness results and weld or finish inspection can be provided when requested and included in the agreed scope ## Confidentiality NDAs are accepted. Drawings are used only to review and manufacture the order. Customer names, drawings and project details are not published without written permission. ## What Fabex is not - Not a retail, repair or walk-in fabrication shop — it serves OEM and contract-manufacturing programs. - Does not provide CE or RoHS conformity testing, marking or certification. - Does not publish a pieces-per-month capacity figure; capacity is planned from the specific workload.
